Welcome to the Podcast Primer, a resource that will help you get started podcasting in your classroom. Why Podcast in your classroom? (presentation from Wesley Fryer)
A
podcast can contain any type of file: audio, video, PDF etc. Podcasts are different from web-based audio and video files because their
feed permits subscribing and automatic transfer of the files to a portable device like an iPod, letting people listen to them when they want to.
G-cast Your own audio broadcast, where you can easily record voice messages, mix in your favorite music, and share it all for the world to hear.
Odeo StudioCreate and upload your podcasts using Odeo.
ZamzarThis free tool allows you to convert your files (ex: from a wav file to an mp3 file)
